Travel Thursday | Dark Dark Tunnel

What's inside

The dark dark tunnel
Where vehicle almost "kiss"
Cheek-to-cheek
That's how narrow
Homer Tunnel is

Was I scared?
Was I worried?
Of this long dark tunnel
Oh yes Siree
So was my bestie

Yet I am excited
Yet I am glad
On what's on the otherside
A mystical land
Where tinkle bells and fairies
Tap and dance of merry

My Homer Tunnel NZ story here.

  4. I don't like driving through narrow tunnels, even when they are lighted. I did enjoy your poem, however.

  5. Lots of tunnels like that in Italy as well, I love the contrast between the tunnel and the snow.
Thankyou for calling by News From Italy and commenting, it is much appreciated.

  10. Always a good question wondering what it is like both in the tunnel and at the other end which you have described brilliantly.
