On this bright cheery day
I sit here with my mind astray
Thinking of what to write for Watery Wednesday
A combined meme with Outdoor Wednesday
Should it be a poem or an essay
On a site tucked far far away
In Indochina - The Ha Long Bay
Where are you?
Oh Ha Long Bay
I call for you
Come out and play
Out at deep sea of blue
Underneath hot sun shiny ray
Amongst the islet the junk boat cruise
Wiggle waggle to keep me amuse
Lying back letting my body loose
And my brain from being used
For my soul to sing the blues
Yet to blog on my Hanoi trip 2007.
Well well well ... I love the poem very much. I can visual myself there too!
ReplyDeleteThe picture is very interesting, and hints at adventure! The poem is great.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a perfect place to pick a boat and set sail.
ReplyDeleteGreat poem. I am so not good at poetry. Are those boats sitting in the sand? They're so colorful!
