Pavilion Kuala Lumpur tightens its SOP during Covid-19 pandemic

Malls have a different procedure as compared to a standalone outlet as it requires tiering checks. Let me share and explain on how Pavilion practices their SOP in point form, as simple as possible.

Entrance from parking lot
Pavilion has blocked few of the entrance from parking lot to the mall. Concentrating the entrance to a handful to control the visitor registration ie scanning and temperature check.

On foot entrance
Standard check in terms of MySejahtera scan and temperature check on local and those with apps, for foreigners, they can write their details down.

Guard
Security guard are placed to ensure visitors adhere to the SOP at those entrances. And perhaps guide those that are unaware on the process.

Stores
2nd tier checking is done at respective stores whereby another temperature scanning and registration takes place (outlet discretion).

YSL
As beauty stores do not allow customers to touch nor try their products, hence YSL came out with a beauty face-apps where the customer face is captured on an iPad and she can select the beauty product (blusher, lipstick, eyeliner etc) and swipe to choose the preferred colour. The apps will then apply the chosen colour on the face-apps.

F&B Outlets
Foodcourt practices 1-2 meters ‘table distancing unless with family members/friends). If you are alone, then you’ll sit alone and your table will be 1-2 meters apart.

Public
While I was here, I noticed in generally everyone wears a mass (except those eating lah) and avoid close contact, maintaining the distance of 1meter between one and another.

Steps have been taken by the mall as well as respective outlets in ensuring public safety as Malaysia enters the Recover Movement Control Order phase. More malls/stores/F&B outlets reopens at the same time adhering MKN’s strict SOP. Malaysian very obedient huh.

As of the todate, Malaysia Covid-19 count is as below. Great Team Work Malaysia!
