Watery, Outdoor & B/W Wednesday | Baby Elephant Walk

I was on a bamboo rafting trip in Chiang Mai, Thailand when we bumped into a group of tourist riding on the elephants, of cause I wanted to try as well as soon as we finishes the rafting excursion. Typical me :D

The ride will take you into the jungle and across the river, the whole journey will probably take you an hour or so. However, do be prepared if you wanna try this as one of my friend's elephant decided to take a quick shower by the river leaving them ALL WET! Hahhahha....

Just realised I haven't blogged on this tip yet, more pics in my Facebook.

My Robotic Thumb

Yes! Really!

My robotic thumb, ie thumb drive or pendrive or USB drive. Did my title cause you to wonder? Hehehee...... cute huh!

I borrowed this for pic taking, I only owned 1 of it but was very fascinated of the colours available. Hence, I hijacked to blog about it (must return this once I post this entry, sigh.... Perhaps I just don't post; hemm....). Have you seen any cute ones? I've seen alot of design in KL, and apparently in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong have even better and more choices.

This is how it looked like without it's head.

A headless thumb!

Travel Thursday | Dark Dark Tunnel

What's inside

The dark dark tunnel
Where vehicle almost "kiss"
Cheek-to-cheek
That's how narrow
Homer Tunnel is

Was I scared?
Was I worried?
Of this long dark tunnel
Oh yes Siree
So was my bestie

Yet I am excited
Yet I am glad
On what's on the otherside
A mystical land
Where tinkle bells and fairies
Tap and dance of merry

My Homer Tunnel NZ story here.

Watery & Outdoor Wednesday | Dear Ha Long Bay

On this bright cheery day

I sit here with my mind astray
Thinking of what to write for Watery Wednesday
A combined meme with Outdoor Wednesday
Should it be a poem or an essay
On a site tucked far far away
In Indochina - The Ha Long Bay

Where are you?
Oh Ha Long Bay
I call for you
Come out and play
Out at deep sea of blue
Underneath hot sun shiny ray

Amongst the islet the junk boat cruise
Wiggle waggle to keep me amuse
Lying back letting my body loose
And my brain from being used
For my soul to sing the blues

Yet to blog on my Hanoi trip 2007.

Help Me Choose!

Few weeks back during the school holidays, I babysat both my nieces Maira & Misha for a day. And I was wondering hard what activities to do with them that they haven't done with their friends or mummy during the hols.

Then I came up with this great idea (or so I think, as usual), I took my 2 cameras and went to fetch them. Upon them sitting in the back seat, I told them that I am doing a photo competition for both of them, they were excited of cause.

The rules were, the pics taken must consist of (1) building (2) animal (3) scenery (4) human and (5) water. For an 8 & 10 years old kid, they did pretty well I must say. So well that I'm not sure which one to pick... Can you help?

Travel Thursday | Humayun's Tomb

This is the first garden-tomb in India located in New Delhi. It is also the first to use red stone in this big a scale, it's a true magnificent fit. It was built by a Persian architect named Mirak Mirza Ghiyuath in 1565 and completed in 1572, basically took 7 years to finish.

If you remember, there's another or should I say the most famous tomb in history inspired by this tomb. YUP! You got it, it's Taj Mahal - An Epitome of Love. Read more of my India entry here on Taj Mahal.

To Biqque & Chawanna, hope you enjoy your India trip as much as I did. Oh yah! It's a UNESCO site as well
:D
