Watery, Outdoor & B/W Wednesday | Old Canal

In ancient time

An ancient place
A beautiful canal
Set pace
Venice of the East
Untouched
Unbeknown
Asian imperialist
A muse
to lonely mariner
Of
enchanting Suzhou-
charming Shanghai
It meander

Please check out Watery Wednesday, Outdoor Wednesday and Black & White Wednesday.

It definitely has a untouched Venice tourist feel about it. No doubt the man in the "Gondola" will give me a much cheaper rate too !!

Wow, this is a beautiful monochrome photo! Love it very much. I am certain you can take a great photo when you visit Japan! One thing that I can recommend to you is to organize your trip to the place where festival takes place (or any sort of traditional events) if you are interested in history, culture, religion of Japan:) I can help you out if you need.
